Leda and the Swan
A work transmitting a composition devised by Leonardo da Vinci. Leda stands beside Zeus-as-swan with children newly hatched from eggs amid lush nature; though Leonardo's original is lost, it reflects his ideal of graceful, spiraling form and fertile life.
