Mrs. Lewis Thomas Watson (Mary Elizabeth Milles, 1767–1818)

Reynolds, first president of the Royal Academy, portrays the young Mrs. Watson with graceful composition and soft tonality. Her elegance and character are rendered in his refined classical manner.
