Portrait of Dr. Gachet
A portrait painted late in life by the Post-Impressionist master Vincent van Gogh, depicting Dr. Gachet, the physician who cared for him. The melancholy doctor resting his head on his hand is rendered in intense color and undulating brushwork, making it one of the iconic portraits of Van Gogh's final period.
